This platform is designed for children, but participation requires parental involvement and consent, in accordance with applicable laws.

Accounts may be created by:

  • A parent or legal guardian
  • A parent together with a child
  • A child with verified parental consent

Minimum age requirements are governed by applicable local laws in the user’s country of residence.

We collect only the information necessary to deliver our educational services.

Information provided by parents or guardians

  • Parent/guardian name

  • Phone number

Information related to students

  • Child’s name
  • Child’s age
  • Learning progress and course completion data
  • Uploaded learning projects (e.g., code files, assignments)
  • Profile avatars (if enabled)

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand general usage patterns and improve the platform. We do not collect IP addresses directly.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without parental involvement
  • We do not sell or rent personal data
  • We do not store payment card or banking information
  • We do not send marketing or promotional emails

4. How We Use the Information

We use collected information strictly to:

5. Payments & Billing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a third-party payment provider.

iCodejr does not store credit card or payment details.

Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe in accordance with their security and compliance standards.

6. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party tools only for platform operations, including Tutor LMS (learning management system).

7. Cookies

We do not use cookies for advertising or marketing purposes.

Any cookies used are limited to:

  • Essential platform functionality
  • Performance and analytics

Users may control cookies through their browser settings.

8. Children's Privacy

Protecting children’s privacy is a priority for us.

  • All child accounts operate under parental oversight
  • Parents or guardians control access, data submission, and deletion requests

We align with global data protection principles, including GDPR and COPPA, where applicable.

9. Data Retention

We retain user data for up to seven (7) years after subscription expiry for legal, accounting, and operational purposes.

Data may be deleted earlier if:

  • A parent or guardian submits a valid deletion request, and
  • There is no legal requirement to retain the data

  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
